Remote monitoring collaboration
Amica24 is delighted to be partnering with Canary Care to launch the first monitored version of this monitoring system. Canary Care captures 'activities of daily living' and can generate alerts in response to potential issues, for example, a loved one staying too long in the bathroom (a potential fall) or the front door being opened at night.
Over the past several months we have been working together on the integration so that Canary Care alerts could be handled by our monitoring and response centre team.
It came especially apparent that there was a great need for the use of remote technology especially during Covid19 and the restrictions that were around carers and shielding.
Our top rating in the Quality Standards Framework accreditation from the TEC Services Association for our Monitoring and Response means we will be able to provide a new level of reassurance and peace of mind, enabling even more vulnerable people to continue living in their own homes.
